Fall 2020 Announcement

To our wonderful community of patients,

We at Function Center for Health want to express our gratitude to all of you, for the support and patience you have shown us over the years, but especially this year with all the changes it has brought to us all.

There have recently been a few updates from the clinic that we wanted to share with you.

Covid Screen: In accordance with some changes from The College of Massage Therapists the Covid screening survey is now being sent out 48 hours before your treatments. It is now required that we have the survey answered 24-48 hours before each appointment. Please ensure that you return the surveys within that time frame. As previously, if you are having a virtual telehealth appointment, you do not need to fill out the survey, it only applies to in person visits to the clinic.

Masks: The Public Health Agency of Canada recently stated that masks should contain 3 layers of material. We continue to ask that you bring your own mask to appointments, and request that they be medical masks (the disposable ones). If you have a cloth mask and/or your mask is ill fitting, we may give you a medical mask to wear for your appointment.

Fees: As of January 1, 2021, clinic fees will be increasing as follows:

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy:

Initial visit $175 $160
Subsequent visit – 60 minutes $175 $160

Initial Appointment – 45 minutes $105
Subsequent appointment – 60 minutes $115

This year has brought many changes and challenges for us all, and we hope that you are faring well through it all. We would like to take this time to gently remind everyone to please take the time and steps needed to look after your mental and physical health through the holiday season and beyond.

May you all find the joys of the season,

Warmly
Claire, Jodi and Shawna
